Performance

All Airlite Architectural Aluminium windows and doors are manufactured to comply with Australian Standards for windows and doors. This includes AS 2047-1999: Windows in buildings – selection and installation and AS 1288-2006: Glass in building – selection and installation.

Acoustic Performance***

For optimal acoustic performance various glazing options are available for Airlite Architectural Aluminium windows and doors. Airlite recommends the use of a glass thickness no less than 6mm to achieve a minimum sound reduction. This range is capable of holding a maximum glass thickness of 25mm.

Energy Performance***

For optimal thermal performance Airlite Architectural Aluminium windows and doors allow for a 25mm IGU. With the appropriate energy efficient glass option such as low-E the ability of the window or door to provide resistance to external temperature extremes is enhanced.
